I decided to dedicate "cult." So much, which is explained already own.

Boardwalk Empire - anche noto in Italia con "L'impero del crimine" -  è una serie tv, (da vedere rigorosamente in inglese con i sottotitoli)  sceneggiata da Terence Winter.

Questo nome vi ricorda qualcosa? Vi do un aiutino.....

  

Si, esatto. The Sopranos, the show that revolutionized television history, as well as one of the most beautiful ever.

As for Soprano, Boardwalk Empire is aired on HBO (mica that gay stuff of the CW! The HBO channel is the real gangsta!).

fact The series is set in the twenties of the last century in Atlantic City during the era of Prohibition. All this reminds you of something? Clearly, the American gangster genre since the "Untouchables" on.

Who, I say, riflettetici a moment, who could be interested in such a project if not him! The king of gangster-movie. The producer, director as well, which is ...... Mr. nientepocodimeno Martin Scorsese.

so much for racing to go and retrieve (now 12 episodes from the first series is over, sigh!) This little gem.

1) The quality

The reason main reason why Boardwalk Empire rises above the normal TV series is its fucking excellent. In everything. From the screenplay (dialogue worthy of a real movie, the jokes are very original, perfect and distinctive), costumes, soundtrack and especially photography. Looking Bardwalk Empire, it is almost automatic, the feeling of watching a real gangster-movie, and that gangster movie! In some ways better, because of its temporal expansion. The assembly sublime, the soundtrack, the first plans, the intensity dellla scenes, everything is decorated with a cinematic style. There is almost no boundary between the two genres.

2) The cast.

Now, as if it were not enough the quality of the designers and technicians, to ensure the beauty of this series, we think the stellar cast.

not absolutely needs no introduction, it says alone. Nucky Thompson is his character, boss of the city, protagonist and pin the tale told.

He, too, face a well-known (and not to be the double of DiCaprio, eh!), Especially when working with Bertolucci's "The Dreamers", but especially another talented actor. 3) The choral

Because of time dilation, the characters are well characterized but the authors do not are limited to this. They have created a choral work where everyone, from the plaintive soprano voice apparently play a key role in helping to create the right melody, the harmony that makes this show so precious. The smallest details are treated in a rigorous way, as well as the stories of the characters. Never a flaw, never a contradiction (the authors of Lost could learn a little something, eh!).

4) The plot

policy and crime, organized crime, sex, alcohol, jazz. Corruption, Ku Klux Klan, racism, sexism, femmismo. The Puritan America, America Damn, The Republican America, The America of Prohibition. New York, Chicago. There's even Al Capone excelled in this game of mirrors that is Boardwalk Empire. I've already said too much of the plot, although the opposite may appear correctly. Less than you know and you will be involved.

Here are the reasons why see this show is a must.
